I didn't catch a trevally and didn't even get a touch from the usually abundant baby snapper. The parore capture was interesting though. Let us know if the pink fly works kingaling

Experimenting lately with lumo tube at the front of the hook. Small snapper absolutely love lumo green, so now I'm trying lumo red. It works very well just as light is fading. I'm not really into fishing in total darkness.

The attractiveness of these lumo flies to small snapper may be a problem. Still experimenting at this stage.

All fingers and toes are crossed for decent weather next week.

Here's my final effort before packing up the tying kit - my take on a generic mackerel hybrid tied with EP Gamechange Blend fibres in three colours, and a bit of flash through the middle of the tail. As with the SF Blend fibres, I think the subtle incorporation of several colours in the EP blends give the fly a more natural appearance - rather than monotone colours. Of course the fish will be the judges, not my human eyes!

Again, 6-7 inches on a 1/2oz TT jighead.
