Had a rope into the spot past the point that you can get to a few years back that got you quite away around.
One gut that will kill you however, and you need to time the swell.
Good fishing there after dark when you time the tide right

Must be talking about two different spots. Not on the Tutukaka coast, alot further north.

Like to strike - some good fishing around Kauri Mountain, but again you really want a yak or boat to get to the sweet spots.

Just had a look Jade, and looks like google have updated their images. The spot is no longer shrouded in mystery shall we say. Pretty cool footage when you zoom right in too as you can see the full topography of the terrain.
