Never had any knot issues plus if you get snagged badly your line tends to pop at the knot.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Man I wanna go rock fishing again.</DIV>]]>

Sure its ok but if want an easy and strong joiner then lethals knot in the pic above is pretty&nbsp;hard to beat - would recommend a few more than 3 wraps though. I like to use 6. ]]>

Just tie a double, ie bimini twist, plait&nbsp;or even rangi old spiders hitch. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Personally prefer to go with the above knot and a leader. I fish 8kg alot off the rocks and tie a leader of rod length plus a metre or so of 40 or 60lb. Does me really well. </DIV>]]>
