step 2: cast a smaller stickbait into the madness. Something like a baby runboh, tailwalk gunz, mangrove studio volador..... anything that vaguely represents what the fish are feeding.

big singles, trebles and billfish is silly and dangerous. You have to get a really good hookset straight away otherwise the fish can and will throw the popper when it bites.
