I've put my gear away 'till next year. Work to be done!

Beside's, the semi-pro is in my spot early (4am) every day!

I don't have the time to beat him & am too old to sleep in the car so good luck to him.

well got 19 in the motu today.............and the locals ain't that friendly when u  pinch thier spot............will go back next days off for the moon..........well this thread is dieing so see yall on another real soon.

Last year it was 57 per km from juvenile to adult. Check with Madfish & dunnit Jo, I think their phenomonal catches of "bait could be half baby trout

8 trout in 25 kms is pretty sad, most good rivers would have 8 trout per 100 mtrs. Shocking !

lol all sorts, fishing capital of the country and boat access, gotta say being home alone and hearing about the fish off Kapiti and no access to them is making me bytchy twitchy.

Also I was going through some data for last season and I found something I had tucked away. Did you know that F&G counted 8 trout from juvenile to adult in 25km of the Waikanae River in the April drift dive.....60 years ago it was the most prized small river fishery in the country including royal stamp of approval.

How's the "batching" going?  My turn starts tomorrow when Aunty heads for the big smoke for a week.

What mischief could I get up to in that time? Any ideas?
