PJay #2 Son has a little Relix LH wind low profile baitcaster spooled with 8lb braid (on a Starlo Stix softbait rod that I didn't like).  It feels a little rougher in the gears than Japanese brands, but then at $26 on TM we're not complaining.
 
He's caught some good snapper and kahawai on it, had it 8-9 months or so now, and it's same as new.  He's out on the boat with it today, actually.
 
I would definitely not pay a Buy Now price for it, but it's value for what we paid.
