One that isn't too bright and is a&nbsp;nice caddis colour is Golden Olive. It seems to go a little darker too when wet and brushes out well for that bristly life-like look. <DIV>For&nbsp;really fine and drab dubbings there is Fine and Dry Dub from Feather Merchants. I picked up a new one this morning. For body material, the colour is good but with velcro they tend to fluff out rather than spike out. What about seals fur for legs and thorax? </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Is there much difference between your Metz Scud Back and Thin Skin? </DIV>]]>

I am get to find the 'perfect' caddis green colour, many of the materials seem to bright. I like the colour of the Umqua green net builder but can't find that dubbing material anywhere.</P><DIV>Haven't tied any #10's, mainly stick to the medium-smaller flies.</DIV>]]>

Many believe this is a major trigger for some wary fish.]]>

I have tied a few more of these and am now aiming for a little less dubbing than the one in the pic, making it a slimmer pattern.
