It'd be far from ideal though, as well as the spine comments above you'll probably find that the spacing and number of guides on a spin rod will cause the line to rub on the blank in an overhead application.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>

For example you can&nbsp;visibly see the graphite/carbon or whatever it is&nbsp;my 2 piece ugly stick spin rod when its in two pieces, and the backbone is not centered - there is more or less material above or below&nbsp;the "backbone" depending what way its designed to bend. i.e. overhead of spin.&nbsp;]]>
