    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=69153">blackboat</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 40308<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Apr 2009 at 7:11pm<br /><br />aidan mate ill just keep feeding you the info is what this place is for ,check out particularly surtees and mcaly now those two brands are acid washed and nyalic ,clearcoat being the same ,note the colour un buffed they dont put a shine on there boats ,i went paraell with the alloy length wise by hand and water and got a good effect ,the tosser at nyalic said use 80 grit like christ it will scratch **** out of it some salesman anyway hand rubbed with scotch pad seemend fine if use a buff with scothpad you will get swirls which i didnt like after scotchpad you can always use 1100/12000/1500 paper go over it and it will remove the pad marks the scotch pad will remove the dull acid wash colour bringing to a shine ,once you have even colour after pad clean and spray on the clear and it will stay like that ,dont buy the clear already in spray cans get the stuff in a tin its thicker and a better product ,when dry put your hand over it and you will feel the protective coat its great and one even coat is enough although i did a couple ,,,ill stand by mate]]>
