I reckon you'd need to hit that switch the wrong way with a hammer for it to snap. I tried to do that, then I had a mental image of snapping plastic flying across the room and a large crack forming in the frame. I just levered my baitrunner lever off with a screwdriver. Decided to have a look inside my 6500b Ermm , I basically only managed to undo 4 screws before being blocked by the baitrunner lever.... So I gave up. Then figured out I have broken the Baitrunner drag attachment Disapprove.

I then almost broke my daiwa emcast, and I also had a look at my Shimano Biomaster but could not put the bail spring back in... I think it is best for me not to look inside my reels Thumbs%20Up.

TLD25 was simple to pull apart and work on. It was getting it back together that caused the dramas. Nothing major really but a pain undoing all 7 screws that hold the side plate in place. I had assembled it and found that the anti-reverse wasn't working. Took it apart again to check. You have to make sure the anti-reverse dog is in position correctly.

Now I just need to take the old line off and take her down to Just Fishin on the Shore to get her spooled with some new 24kg.

Not to sure Finatic, its back home in tga and I'm down here in dunnas, its pretty old though and I'm sure most of the paint has rubbed off the spool so could be hard to make that out, is the 6500A the earlier version?
