To be honest I actually searched for the Raurimas as Ive always heard it called the Raus, but was surprised to see it was Rurima. Anyways, thanks for the info. Basically thought the same ideas e.g. get the livies just over the bar, then head out there for a few kinds. Havent done much fishing there, but think my uncle might be keen to take us there for an afternoon if i was down that way as White would be a bit far.
Cheers

But my uncle isnt too big into bottom fishing, and is more a summer game fishing man, so Ive been trying to find information about some spots/hintes/techniques for off the islands.

We will be there probably in August, so would be good to know what it fishes like in winter? Is it easy to pick up livies there to have a shot at some kings?

Any info would be much appreciated.
