there needs to be a "Fight Club" forum where one member can call out another (or tag team bouts) for a 12 thread war of words - all punches above the belt - refs decision final but pretty much no holds barred as long as everyone agrees that at the end of the tittle match when the full time whistle and refs call made - that is it....NO MORE....done....finished and get on with it or agree to ignore one another

I'd pay a membership fee or pay-per-view to see some of these guys open up and be given some room for a decent cyber staush out of the boundaries of the main structure of these forums and away from sensitive types.

Works for rap battles - gets it off the streets an in to a controllable environment.

Would certainly clean up th emain forum and make the mods job a little easier

"take it to the fight-club boys"....simple!!

This thread, indeed this forum, is the Problem Child of the whole fishingnet site, perhaps it is the title"Heavy Metal" that makes a small cabal of posters think that posting messages with an excessive testosterone level is funny, clever or whatever, whereas it just makes everyone with 2 brain cells to rub together cringe.

From now, no more calling other posters stupid names, or constantly abuse people you do not like. There is a huge difference between a light hearted banter and the flat out aggresive abuse some of the members here demonstrate. If you have an issue with someone...frankly I don't give a stuff. If you do not like someone, do not post replies to them. Do not constantly niggle or hassle them.
Otherwise there may well be otehrs aside from TT who will have to learn to enjoy some other fishing sites. And good luck finding any that will put up with half the BS found on this forum.
Uncle has been trying to settle down this situation for the last couple of days, Smudge is right on when he says that wiping this thread would be well deserved, but there is a lot of input in this thread that is worthwhile, so for now, it stays.
I do not know if it can be put any clearer now... stop the personal attacks NOW. That does most definitely include snide little semi "oh-so-clever" signatures etc, such as earned TT his binning.
Get a life, go fishing, keep it civil.
