Interesting that Boulder, I also liked the feeling of the blank the Cabo is built on but don't know what blank it is. I really like the Quantum blank so much that when the guides went crappy (they were only fresh water guides) I paid twice what I had paid for the rod to have it redone with the guides of a shimano rod that had failed the boulder destruction test. Its now my go to shallow water set

Like most brands Quantum have a variety of different price leveled gear..

Whats your Quantum like to fish with Boulder. I'm a great fan of overhead reels for SP fishing and I've got an pistol grip Starlo on the way but after seeing, feeling, touching the Quantum I was very impressed. Don't know what to do.
