've used Knead it to fix pot lids and knife handles - has handled heat and water well for a few years now. My advice would be don't muck around with experiments, just go buy another . I'm thinking I could glue it back together with JB weld then maybe reinforce it with some knead it afterwards?

Show us a pic of the damage. JB Weld is generally an effective epoxy. There are products such as 'knead it' that are like plasticine in consistency. Bugger!
I've had an argument with a raised garden bed and managed to break off my Lowrance tripleshot transducer right by the mounting bracket
Does anyone know what these are made of or what glue i could use to try to stick it back together?
Looking for a temporary repair until I can organise a replacement.
