They use C section steel which is superior to box section imo. No chance for salt to build up inside and do its thing.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>My boat trailer is C section steel and was made in 1980. It's still good, though I completely stripped it, and had it sandblasted and regalvanised about 3 years ago. I use a handheld spray unit to wash it immediately after each and every dunk.&nbsp;</div>]]>

Rather than sink good money into patching it up I want to get a new one. The 2 names that come up after searching are mudgeway and Trailer services ltd. Ill talk to these guys, but does anyone know of other south island suppliers / fabricators? If I had more spare  time I'd almost consider buying something prebuilt in Auckland and pick it up myself. But that could be time better spent out on the water....]]>
