Incoming tide runs clockwise around the country. <br />Sometimes the most hammered spots will keep producing pelagics, but if you find a nice spot then try the same spot on different tides and learn when its fishiest.]]>

I've got a boat but never seem to pick spots that are at all decent. Got out to kawau and found somewhere that looked promising in my mind, jumped in, and didn't see anything. Any spots that are fairly close to Auckland or even just tips on picking decent spots would be extremely helpful.&nbsp;]]>
