Always had trouble when it came time to coat bindings etc . We were doing a sheep on the spit one day and it clicked , a quick totoo on dad's lathe and an adaptor to hold a rod was made . A little more time and some rollers were produced. That was a long ways ago , but I still have that spit motor , but no time for building rods or cooking sheep ! . ]]>

It pays to be able to have the rod slowly turning as the flex-coat is drying to get nice even looking finish, I have with some rods I have repaired just gone striaght over the existing rod finish and you would hardly notice the underneath coating..<br></div>]]>
