With children growing up, getting their own lives, leaving home while back, we got a smaller bench top oven.
 Lot less power, and more convirnt for the 2 of us. Even doing smaller cakes, chickens.

Then got a Air fryer around 3 or 4 yrs go..
Even less power, and results exceptional over both oven and bench oven for most things. Espec on re heating fried foods.
Along with the bench oven , toaster, espresso machine, toastee maker, soda stream  kettle, all std fixtures in the butlers pantry.

 We have had one for a few months cooks things like chicken legs and wings really well, no fat etc. My only complaint is that it takes a bit to clean all the parts. Ours is like a large pot with a grill, a plate on the bottom so you really need to soak in a large sink full of hot water to clean any oil or fat that comes out what you cook. I know it's a bit of a fad thing smudge but we use ours ( Breville) more often than not.
The big oven has sat unused for a year or so.
Crumbed chicken thighs are worth the dosh on their own.
Oven chips are good but have to be careful not to overdo them.
Briscoes sell these top cook ovens on "special" umpteen times a year.
About 60% of the cost at Leemings & Harvey Normans.
