Thinking I need to fill in a chips, now have the resin but how to mix up pigment to match colour?Have a red and yellow pigment. Do I mix pigment up until I get near enough colour or go a bit darker? not worth doing a full respray. Just a few nics and scrathes, cosmetic as I know they are there mainly around bow roller area. Have given deck areas a good cut and polish, not a good idea polish on deck but it will wear away soon enough.

If someone touches the mould before spraying up the gelcoat into the mould, the finger print comes out in the finished product..

As in my post above, using the tight stretched masking tape stops sagging and gives a flat surface.. no bumps to sand down.. and it is the final block off with wet and dry sand paper.. only takes a couple minutes for most minor touch up chips..finish with 1200 grit , a quick cut of the area and polish gives the final gloss.
