Author: Mudfish marquand
Subject: 132404
Posted: 02 Dec 2019 at 7:34pm

A lot of the problem with a stuck ferrules is trying to grip the rod to get a straight pull to get it apart. One of my mates gave me a couple of pieces of rubber? anti slip pad/mat. It is amazing how easy it is to pull a stuck ferrule by using this material. I actually used the material today on one of my fly rods. I don't know where you buy this material, but keep your eye out. I'm sure it will cost bugger all. Hope this helps.

Cheers
