    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=52947">KingfishSi</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1274<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 Apr 2003 at 10:02am<br /><br />• 18 mussels (I use the marinated mussels for a sweeter taste)<br>• 3/4 cup flour<br>• seafood soup mix<br>• 3/4 cup flour<br>• 1 egg<br>• pepper<br>• lem&#111;n<br>• butter (for frying)<br><br>Sift flour and soup mix into large bowl. Pour in any dregs left in the siv. Seas&#111;n with pepper. Make a well in centre of dry ingredients. Add egg yolk to milk and beat together. Pour into centre of well al&#111;ng with chopped mussels. Mix well until mixture is thoroughly combined. Beat egg whites until fluffy, add to mixture and stir in.<br><br>That's it, now heat a frying pan add the butter, add a tablespo&#111;n of mixture at a time, cook till bubbles appear &#111;n fritter then flip until both sides golden. Serve with lem&#111;n wedges.<br><br>Yum<br><br>Kingfishsi]]>
