Just an update if anyone else has the same question in the future: 
Spooled both a 14k and 20k Stella today. Both were spooled wet and super tight so shouldn't compact much over time. 

Stella 14k = 270+/-m of PE8 Tasline Elite Hollow Braid
Stella 20k = 450m of PE8  Tasline Elite Hollow Braid

Hi Everyone, I'm looking at a stella 14k to be used for topwater GT, YFT and kingfish. I want to know if anyone has measured how much PE8 braid they have been able to fit on the reel, shimano website says 330yds of 60lb power pro while other people claim 420m of 60lb.
