The Island is quite big, without a car the northern parts might be quite difficult. I took a top water set with me and it came back unused. Unless you have access to a boat/charter I would just spend my time bumming on the beach. Hi, where abouts in NC are you headed? If you only plan to stay in Noumea I wouldnt bother with the land based. Someone correct me if im wrong but i spent 4 months in Noumea and never really saw the potential for LB. I'm heading there on holiday in a few days and last minute was wondering if it's worth taking a rod for landbased
Also if there is any good spots on the island for smaller gts etc as only have pe6
