when i started out I was using a fin nor troppo, 8ft 15-24 kg rod. I really rated it, great for 100-120g lures and i have seen them on trademe for $190. So not going to break the bank at all. Okuma Metaloid Topwater rods.
Really nice blanks, I think they have a Fuji reel seat and Alps guides, off the top of my head.

So decided I might want to give some stick baiting a go this spring. I have a Daiwa Saltist 6500 and now need a new rod to match up to it. Im only just starting out so want something entry to mid level..... cant justify a top end rod as I will only be doing this a short amount of time each year. Any suggestions?
