Wet and forget is fine on clears. My upholsterer told me ONLY use Imar on my clears - some solutions (and I expect wet & forget would) make them go cloudy.

I'm a sailmaker and we use wet and forget on brand new sails and covers. It should keep all mould and growth away for at least a couple of years and then it's simply a matter of reapplying and back to new again. It's a great product. Wet'n'forget did it for my covers. They had lots of green in the corners etc. gave them and the whole boat a squirt and a few weeks later she was all clean and stayed that way for over a year. The stuff is expensive but goes a long way and doesn't have bleach or other nasties in it like some of the other walk away stuff. Looking forward to the replies on this one !. I had new covers made a couple of years ago (heavy black "Sunbrella" type) and over the past 24 months, pollen and bird shyte seems to be making them a bit second hand. new boat has some nice black covers for it_ thick canvas type. 
they've got a bit of dirt moss and mold on them and id like to clean them up but and worried about ruining them by doin it the wrong way.
any help?
