I have just got a custom made Osprey 550C but yet to go out in her - on paper they look the goods...
 
23deg rise - high sides - 5mil bottom etc (Meant to be the most boyant pontoon boat on the market)???
 
a 495 - 505 maybe worth finding???

505  the same hull as my 495 aqualine, pretty awesome ride, but still a small boat and I don't reckon there is much diff between a 7 mtr and a 5mtr in rough conditions, it is still s..., you can handle it better if you are younger and more brazen

Yes. The 509 is still a good boat. It just doesn't ride as softly.

I know kiwi is best but I'm comparing prices of 2 second hand boats.
