There are many options available locally.

Shimano - Back Bone Elite series in 2 piece 7' spin is a reasonable price or you could go more expensive or cheaper with the Shimano range - the BBE will be a nice colour match for your reel if you like shiny stuff.

Okuma nano matrix is a good value for money rod too.

Likewise Diawa will have some good rods in that range.

Walk into a fishing shop, tell them what reel you have and you will see the range available.

G-d willing,

I saw the rod, but I don't want a 1 piece rod. it will be hard for me to take it with me.

I am interested in 2 pcs rod.

I saw the Daiwa Wilderness XT spinning rod:

Is there a good light weight rod that you suggest me to go with it.

I am trying to find a rod (2 pcs) that its lure weight goes between 3/16 - 1 oz.

I want to use this setup in 2 different places (sea and lake).

Nice reel, make sure you learn how to do the basic cleaning and maintenance mate and look after it!

Will last you for a very long time if you can do that properly.

That's a very nice reel. you would want to match that with a softbait rod made for a spin reel. A shop like WS Laurie will give you good advice. Just for future reference you can often get a good deal on a combo set, it is usually cheaper than buying them separate. It is a great reel though, just bought one myself.

Rather trying to get a reel as a compromise, decide on one use and one target that you are most likely to use it for. Softbaiting= 2500 to 3000 reel with 6-8lb braid. This can also be used for bottom bashing and Straylining. Put on a 15-20lb leader and you will land most in the gulf
