   <title><![CDATA[Redcod &amp; tinfoil : last week i was playg around with...]]></title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=53094">cmy4re</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10912<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Oct 2005 at 2:06pm<br /><br /><P>last week i was playg around with tear drop sinkers&nbsp; about 5-6oz the breakaway &#111;nes, i removed the breakaway wires and drilled the holes slightly bigger then wired a&nbsp;size8 black magic hook &#111;n the end&nbsp; of the teardrop sinker&nbsp;, then i wrapped sinker in tinfoil useing an adhesive spay to b&#111;nd it to the sinker then i wrapped the sinkler from bottom top with laceing wired as an added xtra to hold tinfoil in place, by this stage it was looking like something from&nbsp;starwars..lol...but the proof was in the pudding we down to fishing&nbsp;at lake ferry this weekend g&#111;ne&nbsp; and with a lumps of fresh kahawai&nbsp; squirted with wharehouse fish burley in a bottle cost $7.50 and it&nbsp;lasted all day just squirted &#111;n WOW did the Redcod love that...I got ten to good size&nbsp; Cod that averged 1.5kg-3.5kg all but 2 were caught &#111;n the starwars sinker wrapped in tinfiol ...lol 2 of &nbsp;them were caught &#111;n the upper set of hooks 12 ichs above sinker that i had in place aslo better for casting also, again&nbsp; it would work well as a kahawai lure just cast and retrive it..what a great afterno&#111;ns fishing,the sinker&nbsp; ended up going west! with a waywood cast so mark2 now a work&nbsp;in progress..lol</P><P>better fishing all:)</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
