+1 for the Offshore Illusion. Best mid priced topwater rod on the market. Incredible CTS blank. Can't go wrong

In fact there is one in the sell section now. Just make sure it is the lighter version. They say 7'6" but actually just under 8'.

Hey all,
I am after a mid priced stick bait rod as I sold my Okuma Andros. The new Shimano Backbone 8'0 PE5-8 stick bait rods at $200 have had some good reviews but just wondering if there is others in this price range through to $500 (ish) that are worth a look at? Am looking for a rod able to handle PE8 without having to spend the real big bucks!!
