Wrap around belly of lure first, then lay belly triple against that. Then one wrap on top of the triple and just enough left to go around the rod to hold the lure from flaling around.]]>

I've lost the odd treb cover in transit whilst in the rocket holder in bumpy/windy conditions, flailing trebs can cause some trouble to adjacent rods, best to remove stickbait entirely in those conditions IMO]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=87056">Steps</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 107880<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Mar 2015 at 8:40am<br /><br />Similar issue.. a soft bait or trolling lure or bait/ sinker with rods in the holders and travelling.. or even just sitting between re baiting whatever..<br>I use $2 shop elcheapo large ladies spring hair clips.. the ones that sort of look like an over grown paper clamp.<br>weight is brought down to just above the reel and the hair clips clamp everything to the rod so hooks, weights, line doesnt flap around in banging, denting, tangling, hooking&nbsp; etc<br>When not in use they clamp to whatever is handy.. a rail, side of the bait board, bimini frame....<br><br>]]>

One which was pretty cool actually covered each point of the trebles.]]>
