Bbe cast and works the Daiwa dorado stick baits well, all the fish I've raised this summer have been with one, rigged with 7/0 vmc inline hooks. I have 50lb suffix 832 which is nice to use. in terms of stick baits try the starwalker 180F woth inline singles I've found my BBE swims them nice too

Thanks Kaimaikid,

I will be fishing in some rocky terrain... and not interested in rats..  so better go 150lb Id say..   I saw an orca in a bagrin bin today ! might go back and get it Wink

on my T-Curve Revolution sticky rod found that 88g orcas nice to cast and have an easy swimming action - love them

I use just plain ole power pro 24kg main line with no hassle casting - getting good distance, trace length was told to use 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 x your rod length that way the joiner knot is free from the spool when you cast and doesn't put the fish off

As for leader strength - depends on what you are targeting and also where you are fishing...

Rat kingies over a sandy bottom 20-30lb, big kings over or near structure then 80 to 150lb plus
