    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=49167">carlostairua</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 104446<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24 Oct 2014 at 3:38pm<br /><br /><div>both those spots are worth trying and have good kings there on stick baits at times.</div><div><br></div>Worth chucking stick baits anywhere from the wharf out, anywhere there is bait (piper, kahawai, macs, trevs, kohies) . &nbsp;the safe water mark outside the bar often has kings on it. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>reefs south of pauanui and north of tairua beach have some good kings on them at times on stick baits, spec when there are good schools of jac macs there. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>north end of shoe, north end of slipper and north end of king rock, all when there is some northerly current.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;north w end of flat(first island at the aldies) around the kohie schools. macgregors rock. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>been the odd bust up out on the deep pins already and some days where the kings have been smashing lures high in the water column, but the water still has to warm up a touch and those still weeks where the kings fire up on the surface big time are a few weeks late coming.</div>]]>
