I use the CTS blanks for top water fishing, excellent rods..caught many GTs on mine without problems

Agree about the Terez, but the Caranx has some grunt, have smashed some bloody big fish on that rod, with an 18k on it, great rod for the money

Although that is a beast of a reel, the heavier version illusion PSS is more of a stiffer popper rod. I used to flick 60 - 160g with mine, with the middle range of about 100g being the sweet spot. They way over rate their casting weights for some reason. You'll also find they are closer to 8ft than 7'6".
