But they guys you mention choose to run 80lb braid, yet fish it like 50lb?<div>The max drag rating is not something I think you will find written &nbsp;on any factory produced rod.</div><div><br></div><div><br><div>&nbsp;I&nbsp;have a PE 3 rod that with a 4500 size reel and use 2 spools. 1 @ PE3 1@ PE5, Depending on where and what I am fishing too.</div><div><br></div><div>The ratings are guideline from the manufactures, not commandments written on stone and shared by Moses</div></div>]]>
