Just seen this on the Herald page.
Not good,  new shop and while i've only met him at boat shows a good bloke to chat to.

Reel Rods Taipa,  - Hope he has insurance and hope someone finds this lot

"Rods and reels taken

An estimated $40,000-plus worth of rods and reels was stolen in a ram raid on Reel Rods at Taipa in the early hours of Sunday morning. Three males were involved, police describing the raid as "reasonably well organised", the thieves targeting high-value items."

The worst part is some unscrupulous fisherman will buy them knowing they are stolen.

Having a huge crime wave up here at the moment...

I look in my shed and my house and realize I wouldn't know where to start replacing all this stuff.

Someone had a car ripped off in Kaitia last week and the police said to go to Whangarei to report the crime!

Hard to believe but there you go...lawless.

If you need help call the fire brigade is your best bet and that's just all kinds of wrong.

Poor Kieran what a bugger.
