Caught today off napier. That on its own would be a normal season tally - apart from the ones over last few weeks.
We headed north below kidnappers (about 30k hike) to have a crack. No luck for us - but primo day on the water. Quite a few boats around. But no sign of anything - birds etc - zilch.
The hookups seem to be coming out of the blue - today anyway.
Stopped on way home and picked up a feed of terries.
