Raglan Fishing Report - 2/11/23

Snapper Action Hots Up

The spring snapper bite is well and truly on out there with good catches in the 46-57 metre range, both west and northwest of the bar.

The fish are in excellent condition and carrying good roe too. There’s the odd good gurnard in the mix when the snapper bite slows too.

Kahawai are not a problem yet with only a few in each catch. The odd big school shark and mako are already turning up to spoil a good bin up too. All the baits seem to be working with fresh being best.

Tight lines!
