The fishing has still been mostly excellent over the last few weeks. Nice big school snapper with a few bigger fish in the mix each trip has meant full bins.
Over the last week nice trevally have been turning up in threes and fours on each trip. Gurnard are also still there and still seem to prefer bonito as their favorite. Kahawai are present along with a school shark or two and sometimes a fair amount of barracuda which are all part of a healthy fishery. All in all, the variety of species has been making for great fishing trips for the anglers while still getting their snapper. Squid has been the bait getting the job done for the most part.
The water temperature is up to 19c and there's some nice clear blue water coming in closer so the game fish are arriving down our way currently.
