New Zealand represented at World Youth Fly Fishing Championship in Czech Republic

The NZ Youth Fly Fishing boys have finished their campaign at their first international in the Czech Republic.

Ollie Basset finishing in 21st and Hugo Pearce in 9th. Up against some of the best young anglers in the world, the lads held their own and really turned heads. Ollie was awarded the biggest fish of the Championship a 53cm Stocky Rainbow, and Hugo - after a nasty trip being swept down the river to lose his rod and reel - also picked up an award for his loss, with the boys winning new rods.

The lads were also well supported by Manic Tackle Project who got in behind the boys with an eye on the future. Congratulations boys!
