USA company MotorGuide has added the Tour and the Tour Pro trolling motors to its lineup. Tour Pro is the first cablesteer motor with GPS anchor. Tour Pro models combine the most accurate GPS anchor available with traditional pushpull stainless steel cables for smooth, responsive steering. The new motors will include MotorGuide’s Zero-G lift assist system and Mercury’s Katana two-blade weedless prop, which delivers more power and better battery efficiency.
The two motors will be available in 82- and 109-pound thrust versions at either 24 or 36 volts, with 114cm shafts. The new HD+ sonar technology is compatible with all major sonar brands, and Tour Pro models with integrated PinPoint GPS also offer chartplotter integration that can connect to Lowrance, Simrad and Mercury VesselView displays for autopilot and navigation control.
Both Tour and Tour Pro models are expected to be available in New Zealand in the first quarter of 2020.
