Have a BBQ with your mates over summer and support Melanoma New Zealand.

Ask your friends, mates at work, neighbours or whanau over for some fun and do something worthy at the same time. You can have a BBQ anywhere, with anyone at any time. At the beach with mates, at work with your colleagues, at home with your neighbours. It’s so simple to take part. All you need to do is register, fire up the BBQ and collect donations from your mates. Registration is free by emailing [email protected] or phoning 0800 463 526.

Everyone registered will receive a host pack containing free sunscreen, a Mad Butcher voucher, delicious BBQ recipes by celebrity chef Josh Emett and more. You will also be in the draw to win lots of prizes which includes a fishing tackle pack from Burnsco (RRP $200), Neutrogena sun care hampers (RRP $230), Matakana Sculptereum family pass (RRP $110).

There is a good reason to support this cause, New Zealand has the highest melanoma incidence rate in the world. Every year over 300 New Zealanders die from melanoma and there are 4000 newly diagnosed. All money raised from the ‘Big Grill’ will be used for patient support, research, education programs, and advocacy.

Melanoma New Zealand is a registered charitable trust. Our mission is to prevent avoidable deaths from melanoma and support those affected by it. Melanoma NZ is the only melanoma specific consumer group operating in this country and it receives no government funding; all campaigns and initiatives are made possible through the generosity of ambassadors, sponsors, fundraisers and donors.
