Follow the Build - The Finishing Touches

To complete the prize-boat package we’ve added U-Dek flooring, Lowrance electronics, quality Shimano gear and a jaw-dropping wrap from the team at Brave Design. Here’s why we’ve used these products and brands on this awesome prize...

U Dek
Adding a high-density flooring product changes the whole feel of an alloy boat. There’s no slipping and sliding on a greasy deck, it looks great and it’s easy to clean. U-Dek comes in a range of colour and tread options to suit individual needs and you can have your own graphics or logos lasered into the flooring during production. The high-density foam core adds extra buoyancy, and the composition of a fine cell structure gives minimal water absorption, together with excellent chemical resistance. U-Dek is a robust solution and with minimal maintenance, it should last at least eight years or longer.

Electronics
You can’t go wrong with adding a brand like Lowrance to the list of suppliers and the Elite 9” sounder plotter combo is a perfect match for this rig. The screen is crystal clear and the options for different views and configurations mean you can customise the screen to your needs. Importantly too, Lowrance electronics are intuitive and easy to use – you don’t need to be a NASA scientist to get optimal performance! The fish are going to be understandably nervous once this boat hits the water!

Shimano
The Export Fishing Comp prize-winner will be also be walking away with some quality gear from one of our leading fishing tackle suppliers. The Shimano Nasci 4000XG FC spinning reel paired with the Shimano Blackout rod will provide the winner with a very tidy soft-bait combo, while the Shimano Genpu XT 200PG Baitcaster Reel and Shimano Blackout Engetsu Slow Jig rod combo will get all of the winner’s slider- and inchiku-style lures into the bite-zone.

And it’s a Wrap!
The wrap from Glenn Kipling and the team at Brave design is simply a show-stopper. Wraps offer a great way to protect your valuable asset, and they also have the potential to look amazing with designs that simply couldn’t be replicated in paint cost-effectively. The other plus is that any small areas of damage can be repaired relatively easily. Maintenance is minimal with vinyl wraps – all you need is some mild detergent, water, and an ultra-soft brush if you need extra scrubbing power. Whether it’s a custom design to suit your specific needs or something more standard, Brave Design has you covered.
