Fishing Boats NZ are proud to be New Zealand’s largest dealer of Surtees aluminium boats and Yamaha outboards. They have recently added Yamaha Wave Runner to their lineup and have a goal to be Senator’s largest NZ dealer within 3 years, too. Co-owner/operators Andrew Carlson and Rhys Sutton have a wealth of boating knowledge, having worked in the Marine Industry, here and abroad, for over 25 years each.
Their core market is new alloy trailer boats, but they also sell quality used boats and outboards. The business ethos for their 24-strong trained staff team is to provide an informed, friendly, and professional purchasing experience with the best products in the industry, along with the ultimate in after-sales service and support. Testament to their standard of service, Fishing Boats NZ currently look after vessels for Coastguard, the Department of Conservation, and the Ministry for Primary Industries (to name a few).
Building on their success and the fact they had outgrown their previous spot on Sunnybrae Road, Fishing Boats NZ have opened a new 5,000m² premises in Hobsonville, Auckland, which is a true one-stop-shop for trailerboat owners and prospective buyers. Located just off the motorway and 1km away from a boat ramp, the new premises features a 1,000m² showroom, 700m² workshop, 300m² trailer workshop, and is purpose-built for easy access with 7m wide gates and stress-free boat dropoffs and pickups.
To celebrate the grand opening of their new 5,000m² premises in Hobsonville, Auckland, they are offering a stock sale with huge savings until September 30, 2023. In addition, every boat sale includes a free grab bag, complimentary first service, and bonus 1-year Coastguard Membership.
