Tournament details

The PICT fishing tournament is nationwide and will be held in Spring, 2010 with dates to be announced. Plumbing World, Mastertrade, Mico and Cory’s  are pleased to be hosting the weigh in, prize giving and BBQ at 25 locations around the country.

It's a simple formula - go fishing for a day (or two or three) with the family or a few mates and you're in to win some great prizes, while helping some very worthy charities at the same time.

Registration

Registration is $100 plus GST per angler. Tournament T shirts are available at $20 plus GST each. Please note that the PICT charities will receive the net proceeds from this event..

Register early  - the first 700 entrants will receive a complimentary starter pack and selection of sponsors products

Prizes

National prizes are all based around a mystery weight so there's no need to catch the biggest - all you need is a little luck on the water and a bit more at the weigh-in on Sunday evening. Local venue prizes will include a prize for the heavist fish in each of the three nominated species and a prize for the mystery weight.

General

  • All fish must be of legal size and caught in compliance with Fisheries Regulations.
  • Entrants are responsible for ensuring their own safety during the event and that they comply with all relevant laws and regulations. The organisers will not accept any liability for loss or damage incurred during the event.
  • Only registered entrants may enter fish for weighing and you must present your registration card to have your fish recorded.

  • We will also be awarding prizes for second closest to each mystery weight.
  • The organisers will be the sole judge of prize winners and no correspondence will be entered into after the event.
  • Fish caught should be stored on salt ice in a chilly bin and may be presented chilled but not frozen.
  • The tournament is a charity fund raising event with entrants able to fish on all or and any of the three day period. It is up to the entrant to ensure weather conditions are suitable for the type of fishing they intend to do. As inland and coastal fishing is allowed no refunds will be given in the event weather is unsuitable for fishing in other areas.
  • The aim of the event is to give entrants the opportunity to help raise money for Youth at Risk while having fun fishing with a few mates. The venue hosts will be putting on a complimentary BBQ and a few drinks during the prize giving to show their appreciation for your support.

We thank you for your support and have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
