The ITM Fishing Show

Here at Tightlines Television we are in full swing putting series number five together. We’ve got some killer footage already in the can, but for me the most exciting thing is all the stuff we are planning to film.

We’ve taken heed of our viewer survey and filmed plenty of snapper and kingi missions and planned a few more… and to keep things interesting, we’ve scripted a few different angles and new themes on New Zealand’s old favorite form of fishing. Some scenes will surprise even the most experienced big snapper and kingi hunters!.

Amongst the most common things I hear from viewers of The ITM Fishing Show is “It must be hard to think of new things to do make the show different each week?” – The truth is the opposite, the world is full of fishing opportunities and most are right on our doorstep! We aren’t limited by ideas or enthusiasm, our biggest trouble is there are not enough hours in the day, or days in the year to do all the things we want to do. And on top of that there is always a bigger fish to catch and a better spot to find as we continue on our search for the perfect days fishing.
