Fishing Reports

I have had three reports of nice sea run trout caught in the last three days, one of 7 lb, 5 lb and 3 lb, one up at Beaumont, one below the township of Balclutha and one at the south branch at the mouth,

Lures of choice, silver toby and rainbow  Rapala,  This is a good time to go before the river fills up with bait and the fish get picky. If using a fly at the mouth, fish the incoming tide with a fast sinking flyline.
