Fishing Reports

Good morning, well we have had enough enjoyed 3-4 lovely days of fine weather that delighted noit only the fisho's but the skiers.

We had only just really started to enjoy some reasonable fishing after having to cope with 6 weeks of rivers that have been up, down, full and dirty, and extremely challenging.

Those that fished the latter part of last week and the earlier part of this have enjoyed some good fishing with some better than average fish.

Rivers had just started to drop away to a reasonable level allowing the fish to move comfortably and fisho's to fish more widely..

The rivers are not particularly appealing at the moment but that can change quickly.

The indicators of some heavy rain may mean that the middle of the week will be harder and as it eases the rivers will begin to fish. As always if you're here you will tend to fish either way, maybe a wet line rather than a nymph, and there is always the spring fed Waitahanui and the Hine.

Best to ring for a report, lets hope things sort for the weekend and we will get a finer break, allowing us to get onto the water.
