Hi Divers, scallop season here in the sounds is now open and the scallops aren't too bad. Plenty of them, good colour, not big in the shell but ok for this time of year and only 3 or 4 that were a bit mottley.

If you can't catch crays, you should be OK with the scallops. Don't forget the size and numbers limits that apply.
