Fishing Reports

Well the rain is coming and it looks as if we are going to have a similar event to the one we had 2 weeks ago ......huge amounts of rain forecast with heavy thundery storms.

At this stage though we have had some heavy rain which has fallen mainly on the lower level, down from the catchements and it hasn't been a lot. If the forecast is correct all our rivers will be up for a time. We have a little additional water in all the tributaries as i write, but not lots.

You will need to take extreme care if you're near rivers or wading over the next few days..

We have enjoyed a long weekend with good weather, great river conditions and good fishing, Not lots of huge fish but plenty of fish that are in excellent condition, and fight well..

River mouths have good rips and though they have been very well defined they arent huge....things may change quickly over the next few days however.
