At 48ft long and over 19ft wide! she offers a very stable platform to fish from and with a cruise speed of 15 knots can access the inner and outer Gulf with ease. DIVERSITY has a huge cockpit with fishing room galore and is able to fish and entertain large groups as well as individuals. With comfortable accomodation and ammenties for 7 anglers plus your friendly Charter Connection Skipper,
DIVERSITY is able to offer extended charters to Great Barrier and the outer islands of the Gulf
48ft of sportfishing heaven! DIVERSITYS' huge cockpit with over 19ft of stern fishing platform and unsurpassed stability, 500 litre livebait tank, central bait and rigging station, over a ton of fish and ice storage, modern electronics, comfortable accomodation, galley with instant hot water and large oven, private toilet and shower, make her one of New Zealands' top charter vessels.
Cruising at 15 knots, DIVERSITY is well suited to the Gulf and New Zealands' coast. Priced from $950 per group for a 1/2 day and from $1400 for day trips- (12 anglers- $60pp there after) Little Barrier and the Gulfs' deep reefs from $1600. Extended charters, game fishing, landbased fishing and other trips by arrangement. Individuals welcome too and we offer regular dates for individuals fishing both locally and around the outer Gulf. There's even a purpose built dive station and a great livebait tank for holding those livies for big snapper and kingfish. The crayfish like it too!

Fishing with Us
Inshore:
Takatu to Waiheke - an area that holds an abundance of fish for most of the year. 1/2 day and full day trips available.
Little Barrier, Deep Reefs and Wrecks, Great Barrier.........
A destination that often produces XXL Snapper from its reefs and shallow foul. The nearby deep reefs can hold good numbers of snapper, kingfish, terahiki and even the occasional tuna and marlin are hooked.
Tournament Fishing
Get a small group together and fish one of the many comps and tournaments around the Gulf or further afield. We regularly feature on the prize lists with a proven catch history.
Jigging and Soft Plastic Bait Fishing
Target snapper, kingfish and a huge range of species using jigs and soft plastic baits. When the jigging action starts under the working birds it sure can produce some great fish! Soft Plastic baits are getting devoured by all sorts of fish and often they can outfish conventional baits.
Landbased Fishing
Get dropped safely onto some of the hottest ledges around the Gulf by our support boat. Easy drop offs and pick ups from a range of destinations.
Kawau, Takatu, Coro, Great Barrier (overnight from $400pp), North East Coast.......

Our launches are very well appointed and comfortable. Includes Stereo, Full Galley, excellent ablutions, comfortable berths and excellent refrigeration.
Fishing Equipment / Tackle:
Rod Hire is available on all our vessels from $25 per unit, bait supply from $25pp and The Charter Connection Lunchbox is $25pp. Please feel free to bring your own equipment and supplies. DIVERSITY has a oven and stove, small BBQ and instant hot water so we can feed the hungriest of crews or corporate groups.

Daily Rates:
DIVERSITY - 1/2 day events from $950 per group. Local fishing from $1400 per group, Little Barrier and the deeper reefs from $1600 with other destinations and fishing adventures by arrangement.
Individuals welcome!
We offer regular dates for you... fishing both locally and the outer Gulf. Stay way trips from $480pp.
Trips depart/details:
All trips depart from Gulf Harbour Marina Whangaparaoa as it is close to the best fishing in the Gulf. Pick ups are available at our descretion and may incurr a fee.
